| 内容記述 | Maeda Kosen Co., Ltd. is a company with a history of over 100 years and continues to grow steadily. This paper analyzes the company’s growth trajectory and explores its strategic approach. Three key aspects of Maeda Kosen’s strategy are highlighted. First, the company has consistently pursued high profitability in its core business and reinvested the resulting management resources into developing future business areas. Second, although the core civil engineering materials business began to shrink in the 2000s, Maeda Kosen succeeded in establishing a unique, high-margin position by building a solutions-based business model. Third, the company has embraced a diversification strategy, particularly valuing unrelated diversification in recent years, a direction that has often been underemphasized in diversification theory. |
